Albilad bank and Saudia airlines became Williams' first main sponsors.

In 1981, Williams switched Albilad and Saudia to TAG. In 1983, they also changed engine suppliers from Ford-Cosworth to Honda.

In 2006, BMW acquired Sauber, leaving Williams sponsorless. The team switched engines to Cosworth.

In 2007, Toyota became the engine supplier for Williams, but the team returned to Cosworth after several years. AT&T also became their main sponsor.
