Wind Tre is one of three nationwide telecom companies and mobile network operators in Italy, the other two being TIM and Vodafone. It was formed in 2016 by the merger of Tre, owned by CK Hutchison Holdings, and Wind, owned by VimpelCom.
CK Hutchison Holdings is now the sole owner of the company, having bought out VEON’s (formerly VimpelCom) share in 2018.

2016–2020[]
An interim corporate logo was used in the initial years of the company, since both the Wind and Tre consumer brands were used separately, though their business divisions were merged in 2017.
2020–present[]
A new unified brand was introduced on 6 March 2020 and took effect on 16 March. It combines the aspects of both the preceding logos and retains the orange colour of Wind.
