Wong is a Peruvian premium supermarket chain created as a winery in 1942 by Erasmo Wong Sr. and then became a supermarket chain in 1983.
Since 2010, it has been owned by Cencosud.

The first Wong logo was the letters E WONG in a slab serif typography with a slightly different W to the following logos.
1983–2005[]
Then with the transformation to a supermarket chain, the logo now the typography of the name is Pump Black and the W acquires the forms that would identify it in the following years.

In 2005, the logo changed and the name became Wong.
The logo, created by Future Brand, was the Name Wong in its own typography for the occasion with stylized and modern lines and the slightly modified W.

In 2012, the Cencosud logo was added behind the Wong logo following its acquisition by Cencosud.
It was created by IMAX Branding to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the chain.
