In the 1970s and 80s, the park was sometimes referred to as "Kansas City's Worlds of Fun".
Still used on nostalgia merchandise, keychains and on the logo for the Worlds of Fun Village section. The hot air balloon theming is based on the "Around the World in 80 Days" theming the park originally had.
2006-present[]
Starting in 2006, the logo was changed to be more in line with the style of other Cedar Fair parks. Sister park Oceans of Fun was also changed.
