In 2005, Excelcomindo Pratama (XL) was acquired by Telekom Malaysia's then-subsidiary Telekom Malaysia International (now Axiata).
2006–2009[]
Along with its' 3G network launch, XL reveals the tilted and box-less variant of its 2004 logo on September 21, 2006.
XL Axiata[]
2009–2014[]
Following the rebranding of XL's parent company, Telekom Malaysia International, to Axiata, the revised logo, including Axiata's logomark, was revealed on June 8, 2009. Ultimately, Excelcomindo Pratama rebranded as XL Axiata in November 2009.
2014–2025[]
A new corporate logo was introduced on 28 October 2014, to distinguish itself from the XL's consumer brand, which also had a new logo on the same day.
XLSmart[]
2025–present[]

On 16 April 2025, XL Axiata finalized its merger with Sinar Mas-owned Smartfren and Smart Telecom, forming a new company under the XLSmart brand umbrella. The new corporate identity, which incorporates the new symbol called "Infinity World", was revealed internally to the employees before being fully launched on 17 April 2025.
The "Infinity World" symbol symbolizes limitless connectivity and endless opportunities. The circle in the center of the symbol represents world-class technology, and then the interwoven shape represents the collaboration between people and ideas, and also between networks that are now gathered with one purpose. The geometric typeface on the right of the symbol symbolizes the power of prosperiy, and the return of forward momentum. Every element in this typeface means that every line, every circle, is built to move together into the future.
