On November 4, 2010, along with the release of the Kinect, the globe became lighter, and a new shade of green was used. Still used on the start-up screen.

2013–2016[]

On May 21, 2013, to fit with the Xbox One, the globe became even lighter, and a solid green is used instead.

On April 20, 2016, after 11 years, Microsoft decided to stop the production of the Xbox 360. The reason for the discontinuation was because Microsoft believed that making a console over 10 years old was starting to "creep up on them". However, Xbox 360 consoles are still being sold in stores and online until none of them are left.
