On May 21, 2013, Microsoft unveiled the Xbox One, and it was released on November 22 of that year.
At E3 2016, Microsoft announced two new Xbox One consoles, a slimmer version named Xbox One S and another more powerful version under the codename Project Scorpio.
At E3 2017, Xbox One X was revealed as Project Scorpio's commercial consumer name and the Xbox One S' logo was slightly updated to coincide with the logo of Xbox One X
