Xinwen Lianbo (Chinese: 新闻联播, literally "News Simulcast")is the main evening news broadcast of Chinese TV network CCTV. Normally, the programme lasts 30 minutes and premieres at 19:00 GMT+8 on CCTV-1, CCTV-7 and CCTV-13. All local TV stations in mainland China relay the broadcast on their main channels simutaneously. Stations in areas with minority ethnic groups broadcast translated versions in minority languages hours later.

Xinwen Lianbo goes on air since Jan 1, 1978 on the basis of Television News produced by CCTV's predecessor Beijing Television. The programme features an anchor since late 1978.

Since January 1, 1996, Xinwen Lianbo broadcasts live, though political reports may be pre-recorded if time permits. The programme features an on-screen logo that appears throughout the entire programme, and a bumper that separate national and international news.
2002–2020[]
Xinwen Lianbo is broadcast in high definition since September 28, 2009. The on-screen logo is moved to the bottom-left corner after a facelift on September 25, 2011.
2020–present[]
Xinwen Lianbo went on a major facelift on July 18, 2020. All graphics are produced in high definition.
