Globul was purchased by OTE in 2003.
2006–2014[]
Globul changed its logo to match that of Cosmote in 2006.
OTE sold Globul to Telenor in 2013.
Telenor[]
2014–2022[]
Following Telenor's acquisition of Globul, it became the Bulgarian subsidiary of the former in 2014.
Telenor sold its Bulgarian operations to PPF Group in 2018, along with its Hungarian, Montenegro and Serbian branches. However, the Telenor brand continued to be used until 2022.
Yettel[]
2022–present[]
On January 27, 2022, PPF Group announced that they would be changing the names of their Telenor subsidiaries in Bulgaria, Hungary and Serbia to Yettel on March 1, 2022.
