Yle Nyheter is the Swedish-language news division of Finnish public broadcaster Yleisradio. It is the Swedish counterpart of the flagship Finnish news division Yle Uutiset.

Swedish is constitutionally recognised as a second official language in Finland, and therefore Yle has a dedicated Swedish division, which is in charge of the TV channel Yle Teema & Fem (formerly the full-time Swedish channel Yle Fem) and the news service Yle Nyheter.

While Yle’s corporate rebrand took place in 2012, the TV news programs were rebranded only in 2013. Yle Nyheter’s TV news program, TV-Nytt (TV Night), introduced the same graphics package as its Finnish counterpart Yle Uutiset. The previous red cube logo is only seen as a ornament on a news table during broadcasts.
