The Scarborough service launched on 96.2 FM on 7 November1993 whilst the Whitby transmitter (on 103.1 FM) launched exactly 1 year later.

Although the two services stayed separate until 2009, the two services had a combined website & logo when the following was introduced.

This logo was introduced to incorporate the station's then web address.

This was the final logo for Yorkshire Coast Radio as it was rebranded into Greatest Hits Radio on September 2020. The former presenters are now on This is the Coast which launched in October 2020
