On November 1, 2009, ZDF Dokukanal was replaced by ZDF Neo, a channel targeting young people. Unlike all of ZDF's other channels, the logo doesn't include the ZDF logo, but it shows its affiliation with its parent network by using the orange color that signifies ZDF.
