2007-2009[]
Originally, all Zavvi stores were Virgin Megastores (UK) but in September 2007, a management buy-out team purchased the company from Virgin. In 2009 Zavvi went into administration and 19 stores were sold to HMV. The Hut Group purchased the Zavvi brand and launched Zavvi.com.
