Zee ETC Bollywood was a music channel in India owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises. It was launched in 1999 as ETC and acquired by Zee in 2001, along with sister channel Zee ETC Punjabi (then Alpha ETC Punjabi). It was renamed to Zee ETC Bollywood in 2011, and complemented Zing as a music channel, though Zing is more of a youth-oriented channel (much like MTV is to MTV Beats).
In September 2020, Zee announced that it would shut down Zee ETC Bollywood on 17 October 2020 and launch a Marathi music channel, Zee Vajwa, in its place.
The gap in the top right corner of the Z was closed and the swoosh within it was modified. This was also done by all other Zee channels and properties on 1 January 2017, and lasted until the broadcaster-wide rebrand on 15 October of that year.
2017–2020[]
Zee ETC Bollywood shut down on 17 October 2020. Zee Vajwa, a Marathi music channel, was launched in its place on the same day.
