Zee Kannada is the Kannada-language general entertainment channel of the Zee network in India. It was launched on 11 May 2006, and an HD feed was launched in November 2018. Its competitors include Udaya TV, Colors Kannada, Star Suvarna, Colors Super and Siri Kannada.
Launched on 11 May 2006.
A new logo was introduced on 19 June 2011 to coincide with the rebrand of the Zee network on that day. The sky-blue colour and yellow wordmark was almost identical to that used by Zee Telugu.
There was a rebranding in July 2014 with a new blue-and-pink logo.
On 1 January 2017, the gap in the top right corner of the Z was closed and the swoosh within it was modified. This was also done by all other Zee channels and properties.
Zee Kannada changed its logo along with the rest of the Zee network’s channels on 15 October 2017, and moved its logo from the top right to the top left corner along with other Zee-branded channels. The pink logo colour was retained for the time being.
As with Zee Telugu on New Year's Eve 2017 when it launched its HD feed, the logo’s colour was changed to orange on 3 November 2018 to match the mother channel (Zee TV) and the other South Indian general entertainment channels (Zee Tamil, Zee Telugu and Zee Keralam, which was yet to be launched at the time).
An HD feed was launched on 3 November 2018 to coincide with the channel’s rebranding and logo change.
