Zee Picchar is a Kannada-language movie channel from India’s Zee Network . It was launched on 1 March 2020, a month and a half after the launch of Tamil movie channel Zee Thirai . Its competitors are Udaya Movies , Star Suvarna Plus and Colors Kannada Cinema , as well as the smaller Public Movies .
Zee Picchar launched its HD version on 5th September 2021, along with the Tamil movie channel Zee Thirai . Therefore it is the 1st ever Kannada HD movie channel.
2020–2025 [ ] The logo colour and channel graphics are the same as those first introduced by Zee Cinema and later by Zee Cinemalu , as well as, more recently, Zee Thirai .
