This logo was used in its radios and TV sets. Later in mid 80s, this was only used in console TVs until late 80s as most TVs will use the 1954-1997 logo instead.

Zenith

This logo was introduced 2 years after Zenith was bought out by LG. The Z from the previous logo was carried over and the "ENITH" was removed, in exchange for a new, all lowercase wordmark set beside it. In 1999, Zenith declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

LG used to sell Zenith-branded TVs, DVD players and ATSC Digital TV converter box until late 2000s.

Today, Zenith is LG’s U.S. research subsidiary for consumer electronics, hospitality and health care technologies, broadcasting standards and related technologies.
