In August 2013, Trent Barton announced a new direct route every twenty minutes, titled Zoom, a very fast route from Derby to Long Eaton. This route then intended an extension to New and Old Sawley in January 2014, which downgraded the frequency to every thirty minutes. This also replaced half of Sawley Xprss's route. It later got upgraded to Solars later on in the year with new features: free and fast 4G Wi-Fi, more seats, USB sockets and double glazed windows. After three in a half years of running, Zoom got withdrawn and then got replaced by 12 and 12A.
